Few places are as special and unique as Yellowstone National Park – the world’s first national park. A wilderness jewel of vast forests and wide-open valleys, home to large bison herds, wolf packs, and grizzly bears. It sits atop one of the world’s largest supervolcanoes, giving rise to such iconic geothermal features as Old Faithful geyser and the Grand Prismatic Spring.

02.12.2022Okay, spoiler alert!! I almost changed to another video when I saw the lone calf get stranded and the wolf go after it, but I hung on to see if he made it. Amazing!!! Tough, courageous, inspiring little guy! If that doesn't make you want to fight when you've got nothing else but the hope and courage to try to make it… What an inspiration for us all! And that mom, what a lady!

30.11.2022The story of the bison 🦬 are bittersweet. Great video! National Geographic has provided some wonderful natural stories with the genuine entertainment of rising and falling action. After watching this, I felt a growing sense of the divinity of the bison. I can now better comprehend the feelings that many cultures have for the sacredness of this animal. Thanks 🙏.

30.11.2022Director Oliver Goetzl duped me into telling him many things about Yellowstone and it's wildlife by telling me he was going to use some of my stock footage he had seen and said he he could use. A decade later I find I have a tiny credit at the end of this documentary. Of course it didn't come with a consulting check. After soliciting the footage he said he could use I never had a response out of him after sending it to the address he provided.

29.11.2022So much beauty. Just imagine, Yellowstone has been doing its thing for millions of years. A lot more time than it's been known by the name Yellowstone. Makes our lives seem like a blip, and our lives problems so temporary.
I remember hearing somewhere that nature photographers have a unwritten rule that they never step in to stop a killing or protect the young, even if it's an extremely endangered species. Must be gut wrenching to watch something like the young buffalo get separated from its mother. They got very lucky to have caught a rare time where the youngin tussles with a wolf and walked away on video.
Sandy Posey
29.11.2022Wow, what an incredible documentary! I can't believe the shots you got. I have visited Yellowstone a couple of times in my life but never get tired of the beauty and incredible sites she has to offer. Thank you for this!

29.11.2022Think about that moment that cameraman caught with that bison calf…. then think about that's only one camera at one small moment in history… think about the millions of other fascinating times, something like that or even more fascinating happened nature is the most fascinating thing ever point blank. It teaches us everything we will ever need to know and if you ever really want to find happiness I would think living out there in the wilderness in my opinion would keep somebody more sane than a busy bustling life I the city .. I would rather be poor and broke and be able to witness something like that and eat squirrel meat every night that's how moving nature is to me it fulfills my spirit unlike anything else.. I know everyone is different..
