31.10.2023The Palestinian people are living in a state of global injustice. Everyone stands with Israel, which is the true aggressor and usurper who took the lands of the Palestinian people about seventy years ago. Seventy years full of injustice, oppression, and the killing of innocents. Thousands of victims were killed by the Israeli usurper, who had no mercy or compassion in his heart, even for children. This is the truth. I hope the world knows the truth about what is happening in Palestine amid the media blackout and the injustice taking place against the Palestinian people.
You don't have to be Muslim to support Palestinians you just have to be human

31.10.2023Dislike for saying Ghostbusters franchise, then including the reboot that us Ghostbusters fans hate. If it was Ghostbusters 1, 2 and 3 aka Afterlife, then fine(plus you rubbed it in by not showing any footage of Ghostbusters 2). But the reboot is not only a 'reboot', so its a separate entity, but its universally hated for being a fart joked(not a funny one either), loud, CGI mess and a embarrassing load of crud, that wastes generally talented actresses like Kristen Wiig and Kate McKinnon(i loved Kristen in Paul especially), plus no one wanted a reboot, we wanted Ghostbusters 3. It was so hated, Afterlife was made to make up for it, and it was a stellar follow up to the beloved first two movies.

Halloweentown 1&2
ScoobyDoo Meets the Boo Brothers
Hocus Pocus

Mostly Ghostly Who Let the Ghosts Out
Disneys The Legend of Sleepy Hollow
Billy & Mandys Jacked Up Halloween
Honorable mentions:
Jeepers Creepers

31.10.2023They should have included Poltergeist 😮
BMP Corps
31.10.2023In my view, I consider "The Raid" franchise, "Battle Royale," and "John Wick" franchise as the Halloween-worthy movies, since both are gory and (quite) violent.

23.10.2023Trick-R-Treat. You forget how little Hillary Duff was when she started.

23.10.2023Omg, no one ever remembers Scream Team when I mention it!
Nicola Akuneme
23.10.2023Im surprised Paranorman wasnt listed let alone mentioned. It's such a good movie
claire Bear
23.10.2023Monster squad is a classic
Todd Simpson
23.10.2023I would have "IT'S THE GREAT PUMPKIN CHARLIE BROWN" as #1 and "HOCUS POCUS" #2. As a side note, my late wife (died in 2021 @ age 49) lived in Salem MA when they were filming HOCUS POCUS, they lived down the street from the "Sanderson House". The high school they showed in the movie is actually a nursing home, the interiors (like many other movies) were filmed at the movie studios in Hollywood.
Oldies fan
23.10.2023Ghostbusters 2 is another good transition movie. It takes place on New Year's eve but has a lot of spooky elements
Robert Turner
23.10.2023Nightmare before Christmas is not a Halloween movie
mykel layne
23.10.2023The movie I watch to get me in the Halloween mood is either Clue, Spookily the Square Pumkin, and Spooky Buddies.
Dream Guardian
23.10.2023Should've added Disney's the Legend of Sleepy Hallow to this list.
WendyS
23.10.2023The Craft and Bram Stoker's Dracula. And maybe Renfield.
AngrySockMan
20.10.2023Monster Squad, Young Frankenstein, Coco, the new Haunted Mansion movie is okay too
Kathie Dornbush
20.10.2023What about my Mom's two favorites? Scooby-Doo and the Ghoul School, and RaggedyAnne and Andy and the Pumpkin who couldn't smile?
Benny Mora
20.10.2023Guys, watching Beetlejuice for the first time was ABSOLUTELY hilarious. I didn’t expect it to be THAT hilarious!🤣🤣🤣
A Rose From Concrete
20.10.2023I've seen every movie on this list except for Coraline
Shauna Mclouglin
20.10.2023Sleepy hallow is one
Ember Skelly
20.10.2023I loved Halloween Town when I was little. I also like Corpse Bridge and The Nightmare Before Christmas…but I feel like any movie by Tim Burton can be considered a Halloween Movie, like Edward Scissorhands, Sleepy Hollow, Sweeney Todd 2007(directed by Burton)…But I also like the Scream franchise. There's Hocus Pocus too, but I have yet to watch the sequel. Monster House was sort of sad as well as halloween-ish just with the backstory of the old man's wife. Sixth Sense o.o was good and horrifying with what people do to one another in the present and past, I can't get over that scene at the little girl's (repass I guess..) and the dad watching the hidden camera video.
But if I were in Scream I'd just fail at answering: What's your favorite scary movie?😈
I'd be like probably anything with care bears…
pozleo78
20.10.2023Yeah no. Stopped when you put Coraline above Nightmare b4 Xmas. Wtf.
Good Time Editing 4 Real!
20.10.2023Congratulations Hocus Pocus! You win this list! Here are some more movies that are perfect for spooky season.

Thomas Bryant

Lew84
19.10.2023Seriously… This list is so wrong… You mention movies that shouldnt even be mention with other movies and you have some in certain spots that should be higher… And some that shouldnt even be on this list… Total fail
Austin Renteria
19.10.2023The Nightmare Before Christmas, Hocus Pocus and Halloweentown are definitely ones that have to be watched every October.
Diana North
19.10.2023Of course, the spooky season would be incomplete without at least one movie featuring Vincent Price!
George Davy Jr
19.10.2023So your just gonna leave out Friday the 13th franchise? I see how it is.
MATTHEW WASSER
19.10.2023I like the Halloweentown movies and the Twitches movies. The live action Addams Family movies from the 90s were also good. Hocus Pocus is a great movie. The sequel was good but not as good as the original.
I like the Nightmare Before Christmas, but I don't like mixing holidays that much. After Halloween I like to start thinking about Thanksgiving before I want to start thinking Christmas movies. That's my opinion, I know it won't be a popular one.
Kirbygamer92
19.10.2023Msmojo has done movies and TV shows. Now how about video games?
Lauren Lewis
19.10.2023I’m confused why you included Scream and Halloween when you said at the beginning it wouldn’t include those types lol. Could have replaced them with Twitches, Underwraps, little shop of horrors, the craft, practical magic, scooby doo, rocky horror picture show, Harry Potter, Labyrinth, Edward scissorhands. The list goes on for “spooky” movies that aren’t scary but fit the vibe. Lol
Erica Leach
19.10.2023My spooky season movies are:
*Twitches and Twitches Too
*Scooby-Doo on Zombie Island
*Scooby-Doo and the Witch’s Ghost
*Alvin and the Chipmunks Meet the Wolfman
*Alvin and the Chipmunks Meet Frankenstein
hansbmd20
18.10.2023Anything Scooby Doo would've worked on here, but a short list would be: of the movies, Scooby Doo and the Witch's Ghost, Scooby Doo and the Ghoul School, and Scooby Doo on Zombie Island, and of episodes from the various TV seasons, The Headless Horseman of Halloween, To Switch a Witch, and A Halloween Hassle at Dracula's Castle.
Also:
A Haunting in Venice (Ken Branagh's new Poirot movie, which I enjoyed more than I thought I would and sets a Halloween tone better than David Suchet's episode of "The Halloween Party" does.)
Hotel Transylvania
Sleepy Hollow
The Haunted Mansion (the Eddie Murphy one, which I know got mentioned, but it wasn't actually on the list)
The Haunted Mansion 2023 (campy as can be, but not bad)
The Haunting of Bly Manor (which admittedly is a mini-series, not a movie, but my gosh, it's so perfect!)
Alondra Xiqui Vicente
18.10.2023Great memories ❤

18.10.2023My favorite would have to be Ghostbusters (1984) and Ghostbusters: Afterlife
Sieren Tokiio
18.10.2023I thought u were leaving off horror movies….and the sixth sense…for it's own list. Scream should be on that list.
great list otherwise.
Forrest Dupre
18.10.2023What about Frankenweenie, Wallace and Gromit, Paranorman, Monster House?
